The short version
Foonts converts and previews font files entirely inside your browser. When you drop a TTF or OTF file into the tool, it never leaves your device — there is no upload, no server-side processing, and no copy of your font is stored anywhere by us. That single fact shapes most of this policy.
Information we don't collect
We do not require an account, and we do not collect, transmit, or store the font files you convert or preview, the text you type into the live preview, or any personal information tied to your use of the converter.
Local storage
Foonts uses your browser's local storage to remember one thing: whether you prefer light or dark mode. This value stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data will reset it.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Analytics
If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people visit a page), it does not have access to the fonts or text you work with in the converter, which never leave your browser.

Children's privacy
Foonts is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
